A Map of Foye
A penny each way across the river, weather permitting.
For as long as there has been a Foye, there has been a ferry to Penruan on the far bank. The ferryman rows across when he sees someone waiting on the steps, and whistles when he is ready to come back.
The fare was a penny for a person and tuppence for a goat. The goat fare has not been asked for in some years.
A penny each way, and a wait in the wind while he rows over. Take a scarf.
